Security Export Control Policy

Security export control is undertaken for the sake of international peace and security. It involves regulation and control of the export of items that might be used in the development of weapons of mass destruction or in the committing of terrorist acts, including not only weapons, but also general-purpose goods and technologies. As U-MACHINE has built up its overseas business base and expanded the services it provides overseas, we have striven to support international peace and security by establishing a security export control policy and complying with the relevant laws and regulations.

  1. We comply with the applicable export control laws and regulations in the countries and regions where U-MACHINE does business, and establish and implement confirmation and control procedures as necessary.
  2. We establish and implement procedures for confirming end uses and ultimate consumers, and do not deal in goods and technologies that are for military use or that may be used for the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
  3. We build a system to implement the necessary export controls, including audits, in-house training, document management, and the like.
  4. We provide guidance and support to group companies so the appropriate procedures will be implemented at group companies.
